woyww - unfinished tasks

The desk today is a mix of a half completed project and a half completed task.  On the left is a collection of embellishments which will be used to finish off the cover of a small book.  The book is hidden for reasons that will become obvious over the next couple of weeks.

The task is the collection of pencils, sponge, scissors and watercolour box on the right hand side of my desk.  I was getting ready for a painting workshop and started checking the list of things to bring.  Of course I then got distracted and started making a cup of tea and neither project nor task have been accomplished.

LO from last week has been moved aside because I started painting when I had the watercolours out.  So I really have 3 uncompleted tasks hanging around my desk.   Hopefully I will have the LO finished and post a pic next week.
But I did finish the painting.  Join in on the woyww fun ...

  3. That leaf painting is gorgeous. I like the muted colors you used. For some reason, I thought it was autumn in your part of the world. But these colors are more subtle, which I really like.

  15. Hi Sandra De, thanks for the earlier visit, your comments are always a pleasure to read. That is all the mess you make with 3 things going at once?? I can't even see the top of Betsy when I get 3 things going at once. LOL I admire anybody that can water paint and have it actually look like something. Mine all turn to a MUD color, so I always stayed with oils. This is delightful, colorful and light and airy.......just gorgeous!!

  16. You and me both!! I've got a pile of projects on the go and not enough time to complete them at the moment...sigh. Still, I shall prioritise them and try and get them done one by one. The fact that the crop is 10 days away should focus my mind somewhat!!!
Love your watercolour painting...so fresh and pretty :) and is that a very fetching green teapot on your desk? It looks oriental and very sweet :-)

  17. Hi Sandra De,

I LOVE your watercolor! The colors are just amazing! See, one project finished! I don't want to think how many things I have going on. I've had to pick up the house so they are hidden all over the place!

    Thanks for visiting me already!
    Happy WOYWW

  20. awesome looking desk today. I get distracted routinely and I have a box to the left of my desk that houses unfinished projects...need to go through and finish a few of them! Love the leaf watercolor! Very nice! I didn't get around last week much so promised myself I would visit everyone that visited me last week this week! I know so behind but getting there. Have a great week! Vickie #26

  22. G'day Sandra
thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment for WOYWW. OMG yes that's me too with getting distracted doing/making one thing only to go do/make another so I then have both(or more then 2!) happening at once. The other thing I'll do is go to get something and think "where did I put that" and go off searching for whatever it is even though it's not what I need for what I was doing. I love your painting you have done. I really don't think you need to do lessons :o)
    hugs

  23. I love the watercolour you have done there, the colours are fabulous! I prefer to complete one thing at a time... but sometimes it isn't possible... as with the ATC's for next week taking priority. ;) I have to admit... its the first time I have seen a teapot on a woyww desk... Annette #23
